Terms and Conditions:

 

1. Length of contact.

The contract begins at the date of signing by all parties, and concludes at the commencement of the first dance, or at another time as agreed to prior to wedding day.

2. Payment of services.

A deposit of 50% + GST of the Package Price as listed above is due within 7 days of receipt of this signed agreement. 

The balance of payment will be invoiced 30 days prior to the wedding day.  If the balance of payment has not been received at least 14 days prior to the wedding day, we reserve the right not to coordinate the wedding.

 

3. Reservations and bookings.

We will reserve your wedding on upon receipt of this agreement signed for 7 days.  On receipt of the deposit we will confirm an unconditional booking of your wedding.  If you subsequently change the date, and we are available, a new deposit will be required to reserve the new date at the discretion of Blume and Darling.

4. Limits of Liability.

While every reasonable effort will be made to produce, and deliver a wedding day in accordance with your planning of the event and expectations, our entire liability to you for any claim or loss arising from our involvement is limited to a refund to you for the amount paid for services.

5. Illness or injury.

If we are unable to coordinate your wedding due to illness, injury or other acts of God, we will find a replacement senior coordinator from Blume and Darling.  If in the unlikely event, we cannot do that we will find a replacement from one of our many industry contacts who will be suitably qualified, at no further cost to you.

6. Cancellations.

Any cancellations must be in writing to hello@blumedarling.co.nz, even if a phone call was made to inform Blume and Darling of the cancellation.  You may not transfer the retainer to another party. 

Cancellations in writing up to 30 days before the celebration date: deposit is forfeited, but no other money will fall due

Cancellations in writing within 30 days of the wedding date booked: deposit is forfeited and any outstanding balances will fall due.

 

In the event an act of God or a safety issue at your venue causes the cancellation of your wedding no further payment will be required, however the bond will not be refunded.

7. Judgement and troubleshooting.

In the event of an emergency, changes, weather, tardiness and non-performance of suppliers and vendors the Blume and Darling Lead Coordinator for your wedding will use in the first instance his/her best judgement to resolve the situation.  Where time permits our lead coordinator will consult with your nominated contact person on the day to resolve any other issues that arise that are not time critical.  If a supplier fails to show or cancels on the day Blume and Darling or its representative my substitute a new suppler/service provider with or without notice.

If a supplier or vendor cancels or fails to show due to non-payment by the couple, in the first instance we will consult with the nominated contact person for direction on our suggested resolutions.  In the event, we are asked to find a substitute full payment to our replacement vendor will be required prior to completion or delivery of the service.
